Department of Science and Technology - National Science and Technology Week Celebration

The annual activity of the Department of Science and Technology showcasing the results of researches conducted and services being offered by the Councils and its attached agencies.

The National Science and Technology Week is an annual activity of the Department of Science and Technology being spearheaded by the Technology Application and Promotion Institute.

The event will be held at the Philippine Trade Training Center, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, Philippines on July 14-18, 2005.

The five-day event will be a venue for activities such as technology fair/exhibits, technology/investment forum, technology business matching, scientific meetings, and job fairs and job forum.

The Philippine Council for Aquatic and Marine Research and Development (PCAMRD) is a regular exhibitor in the trade fair/exhibits. For this year, PCAMRD will be highlighting technologies on brackishwater tilapia culture, tilapia processing, milkfish culture in sea cages and fish pens, and seaweed culture and processing.
