Minister for Education & Training, Simon Birmingham, is going to address the audience at EduTECH on 7 June in ICC Sydney.
He will address thousands of specialists and professionals from the entire education sector who gather at the world-famous education event every year to explore the latest tools, technologies and solutions and attend professional development congresses to gain more knowledge and insight into the latest developments and trends in all education-related issues.
Simon Birmingham has served as a Liberal Party Senator for South Australia since May 2007 and in September 2015 was appointed to position of Minister for Education and Training. A passionate advocate for increased investment in education, he has often reminded us that Australia’s education system needs to be better than it is today. It is thus only fitting that he addresses the EduTECH crowd – the person who can shed some light on the current state of education in Australia and the government’s vision to ensure every student can choose the best education path to help them reach their potential.
The federal minister will not be the only political figure at EduTRECH this year. Delegates will also hear from Rob Stokes, NSW Minister for Education, Mark Scott AO, Secretary from NSW Department of Education and Hon Julia Gillard, former Prime Minister and now Chair for Board of Directors, Global Partnership for Education.
EduTECH is the largest education event in the Southern Hemisphere. It brings together over 10,000 people the entire education and training sector under one roof over two-days. Attendees from New Zealand and South East Asia make their annual pilgrimage to the biggest education show on this side of the world.
EduTECH takes place at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 7 and 8 June 2018. To learn more about this landmark event, visit www.edutech.net.au
