WCRF Regular Grant Programme – 2018/19 opening

World Cancer Research Fund International (WCRF International) is now accepting grant applications for research on the links between diet, nutrition (including body composition), physical activity and cancer prevention and survival as part of their Regular Grant Programme 2018/2019 cycle.

Their Research Areas may be addressed from the perspective of identifying the mechanisms that underpin the effects of diet, nutrition and physical activity on cancer, or by addressing the host factors that influence individual susceptibility to cancer development or progression and survival. Addressing the identification of likely causal links between diet, nutrition and physical activity after cancer diagnosis also applies for the Cancer Survivors Research Area.

Please pass this information on to colleagues who might be interested in applying. See the link below for more information.

Applications are accepted from principal investigators based at institutions in any country outside the Americas (North America, Central America and the Caribbean, and South America). Applications from the Americas can be submitted to the American Institute for Cancer Research (link below). Applications from an eligible principal investigator with co-applicants/collaborators from anywhere in the world are welcome.

Only applications that meet WCRF’s eligibility criteria and adhere to their research principles and themes will be considered. Please ensure you read the application guidelines carefully before applying.

The deadline for applications is 4 October 2018.
