The Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF) is pleased to announce the First Round of the Competition Made in the Arab World (MIA).
This competition aims at orienting Research and Development activities in Arab universities to tackle real needs and problems, and foster business-oriented results. Participant countries will hold their local Finals, and winners of these local competitions will go to the next phase and compete in the Pan Arab "Made in the Arab World" Finals that will take place in Egypt during 3-4 November, 2007. Competing projects will address issues related to the Arab region with a working prototype fully functional at the end of each competition.
The registration process started on February 1st, 2007 and will end on April 1st, 2007.
