Through “The Brand Laureate Awards 2009-1010”, the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation has once again acknowledged Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for its corporate branding.
The award was presented by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Y.B. Senator Datuk Seri Idris Jala. The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Omar Osman received the trophy and a special plaque from Dato’ Seri Idris Jala.
Prof. Omar Osman described the award as recognition of the university’s efforts to place USM among the best in the country, perhaps even the world.
USM received the Corporate Branding award for Best Brand in Education-Tertiary. USM received the same award last year.
