Transforming the Minds of Young Researchers

Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, has launched a lecture program which aims to change the mindset of young researchers and encourage them to exand their work beyond the laboratory.

The researcher's role is not only concentrated in the laboratory alone, but should include other tasks that take them out into the world in order to achieve world peace. In the nation by generating uplift the status of science and technology, Graduate Student Association, Faculty of Applied Science, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) initiated a program of Inaugural Lectures on the theme "Transforming the Brain of the Young Researcher" by YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on February 22 and in Agong Tuanku Chancellor Hall (DATC), UiTM Shah Alam. Tun Mahathir's time to spend some time visiting the exhibition poster while accompanied by the Vice Chancellor, Dato 'Prof. Ir Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar.

"Do not be a conservative-minded people. We should be prepared to accept the renewal time, a younger generation of researchers should be open and undeterred from exploring and creating something new in the field of research, "said Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad.
