Call for Proposals: IDRC, NIH collaborate on global environmental and occupational health program

The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is pleased to announce its collaboration with the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the Global Environmental and Occupational Health (GEOHealth) program. This call invites applications for parallel support from IDRC to GEOHealth Hub applicants.

The GEOHealth program's goal is to support the development of institutions in low- or middle-income countries that will serve as regional hubs for collaborative research, data management, training, curriculum and outreach material development, and policy support around high priority local, national, and regional environmental and occupational health threats.

Deadlines:

Letter of intent to NIH and IDRC: October 19, 2014 (strongly recommended but not mandatory)

Application to NIH: November 19, 2014.

Application to IDRC: Within 30 days of the NIH application deadline of November 19, 2014.
