Continuous Monitoring System for the Detection of Air Pollution

More than an air pollution monitoring device, AirWarn provides continuous, on line, real-time monitoring for air pollution at multi locations. It utilizes RGB information measured by a spectroradiometer as calibration factors on sun radiation, or by using dark target techniques to generate unique image processing process from a newly developed algorithm. The AirWarn can immediately detect the presence of particulates air pollution in the air, then classify it within minutes.

Flexible System Configuration
Fully automated and remotely accessible, the AirWarn system offers low implementation, operation and maintenance. It integrates easily with the personal computer to meet individual requirements for alert thresholds and notification procedures. Alerts can be relayed over a variety of communication protocols including e-mail, encrypted internet or directly into linked information systems. The system can be used as a warning alarm or as a monitoring device to complement existing environmental air quality control process.

Simple to Install- simple to use
The AirWarn can be incorporated into most personal computers with little effort. Its compact size allows it to fit into confined spaces while the flexible mounting system supports either free standing or wall mounted installations. It offers an optional, state-of-the-art, flat panel display which provides a real-time graphical depiction of air quality status. Information is refreshed in one minute increments and shows relative particle counts for the air monitored. At a glance, an operator can identify when pollution levels are approaching environmental department defined thresholds for warning or alert conditions.
