8th International Green Technology & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia 2017 – IGEM 2017 11 – 13 October 2017 Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Over the past seven years, the International Green Technology & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM) has cemented its position as the go-to business platform for the green technology sector generating US$2.25 billion in business leads, featuring over 2,000 exhibitors and attracting over 380,000 visitors from over 50 countries. ASEAN’s largest green technology exhibition and conference returns from 11th to 13 October 2017, targeting 320 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors comprising entrepreneurs, investors, financiers, policy makers, government officials and academicians from over 20 countries with the aim of generating over US$400 million in business leads. This year’s IGEM, is pertinently themed “Powering Green Cities”, focussing on creating living areas that are ecologically-sound and future-ready. As in years past, IGEM 2017 will feature a dynamic and diverse exhibition floor showcasing the latest green technology innovations across dedicated energy, green transport, green building and green industry zones. IGEM 2017 will also feature insightful conferences, discussions, dialogues, key note addresses and networking sessions with international speakers, subject matter experts and thought leaders. Conferences scheduled for this year’s IGEM include the: • International Urban Sustainability & Green Building Conference (IUSGBC) @ IGEM2017 by Malaysia Green Building Confederation and World Green Building Confederation • IGEM Solar Conference 2017 – Energy, Storage, Mobility by the Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association • Palm Oil Sustainability Conference by the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Pavilions confirmed for IGEM 2017 include Japan, Korea and China as well as regional representation from the European Union and Taiwan. Confirmed exhibitors include ABB Malaysia, First Solar, Atlantic Blue, JA Solar, Jinko Solar, Hanwha Q-Cell, BYD Company Limited, Itramas Manufacturing, Malaysia Timber Certification Council, Pekat Engineering, SIRIM QAS International, Trina Solar and AL-CO Malaysia.
