Taiwan Innotech Expo, formerly known as Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart (INST), will take place at Taiwan World Trade Center in Hall 1, from Sep. 26 to Sep. 28, 2019.

2019 Taiwan Innotech Expo, the biggest invention show in Asia, will take place in Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from Sep. 26 to Sep. 28, and is expecting to gather over 45,000 local and international buyers. In addition, the application for Taipei Invention Award is open from April 19. If interested, please apply as soon as possible to get the chance to showcase your brilliant ideas.

Taiwan Innotech Expo, formerly known as Taipei Int’l Invention Show & Technomart (INST), is host by Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Council of Agriculture, National Development Council, and is implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). This year, the show has various areas which include Taipei Invention Competition, Patent Commercial, Peripheral Service Area and Three Expo Park.

To encourage the outstanding inventors to keep working on innovative invention, Taipei Invention Competition Area will display those awarded works. Also, Taiwan Innotech Expo will hold the competition at the same time, and present the highest honor, the Platinum Award, to excellent inventors. Furthermore, the show organizer will publish the Platinum Award brochure and send it to potential buyers and venture capital associations in Taiwan and overseas to show Taiwan’s strength of innovative invention and future technology to the world, promoting technology investment opportunities and help to upgrade industries and economic development.

The Patent Commercial Area will invite winners from earlier years and present their awarded patent works. Through this, buyers not only can experience the product themselves, also have the chance to get more detailed information about the works by the presentation from inventors. Nevertheless, the Peripheral Service Area offer exhibitors and inventors the professional consultant about patent trademark, media PR promotion and package design, to enhance the value of product and to strive for greater trading opportunity.

Three Expo Park will feature with themes of Future Technology, Innovative Invention and Sustainability to showcase the results of research and development. Besides, the show organizer will invite the world-known research and development units from overseas. By this, people can have the unique chance to make technological exchange with overseas specialists, strengthen Taiwan’s international connection and increase the industrial cooperation and investment opportunities. Furthermore, this year’s Taiwan Innotech Expo will be held at the same time with Taiwan International Water Week and Circular Economy Taiwan, to demonstrate the cross-domain synergistic effect, expanding the chance of multi-cooperation.

Last year, Taiwan Innotech Expo gathered 553 exhibitors, using 830 booths and exhibiting near 1,500 kinds of patent inventions and technologies, attracting buyers from overseas such as the United States, China, Vietnam, Japan and Hong Kong. This year, Taiwan Innotech Expo will combine with various events, including international forums, seminars and matching conferences. To integrate invention, innovation and investment, and boost the investment opportunities of technology trading, patent transfer and trademark authorization internationally.
