As the industry evolves, companies are challenged to meet different demands, and there is a growing trend to invest and apply new technologies and increase return on investment. This conference and exhibition will have keynote speakers and authors addressing challenges facing the current and sometimes volatile environment, meeting energy demand with effective technologies and a skilled workforce, and implementing technologies for breakthrough performance.

The meeting theme, “Resources, Professionalism, Technology: Time to Deliver,” will focus on current needs of resources faced by the oil and gas industry, professional accountability, etiquettes & social responsibilities that organisations need to observe in today’s environment, and the evolution of technologies, will be discussed.

The panel sessions and selected technical sessions will be designed around the theme, but the bulk of the technical programme will be based on the topics that have been provided in the Technical Categories.

Please give others the opportunity to share your experience, ideas, issues and best practices by submitting an abstract by 5 February 2007. Online submission of abstracts is preferred. The Programme Committee will select the papers and SPE will notify the authors of acceptance of their papers in early April 2007. Manuscripts of accepted abstracts will be due by 16 July 2007.
