Made In the Arab world competition finals

"Made In the Arab world" (MIA) is a competition that aims to bridge the gap between university researchers, professionals and business community towards a better impact on the social and economic development of the Arab countries.

Finals to be held in Egypt, November 3rd - 4th, 2007

"Made In the Arab world" (MIA) is a competition that aims to bridge the gap between university researchers, professionals and business community towards a better impact on the social and economic development of the Arab countries. The competition aims at orienting Research and Development activities in Arab universities to tackle real needs and problems, and foster business-oriented results.

MIA will take place through the finals of several local competitions led in each Arab country joining MIA, under the name of: "Made in my Country" (Ex: Made in Egypt, Made in Morocco, made in Kuwait, etc). Each country will hold its Finals, as winners of these local competitions will go to the next phase and compete in the Pan Arab "Made in the Arab World" Finals that will take place in one of the Arab (participant) countries.

Competing projects will address issues related to the Arab region with a working prototype fully functional at the end of each competition.
