2007 ASIAN FINANCE ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE

This conference have emerged as the premier Asia Pacific finance conference that meets the needs of academics and practitioners covering the broad areas of finance, banking, accounting and insurance.

The 18th Asian Finance Association (Asian FA) meeting will be held during 4 - 7 July 2007 in Hong Kong. The
conference is hosted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Asian FA is the successor body that
organizes the meetings held by the APFA and the PBFMA (PACAP Society) since 1988. Over the years these
meetings have emerged as the premier Asia Pacific finance conference that meets the needs of academics and
practitioners covering the broad areas of finance, banking, accounting and insurance for them to present new
research findings as well as discuss current issues in those fields. Presentations of research papers, panel
discussions and tutorials begin on Thursday 5th July. On Wednesday 4th July, a PhD symposium is organized: it
is coordinated by the FMA based on their experience of running the PhD symposia at the European FMA
meetings. The registration fee of the selected registrants at the PhD Symposium will be substantially subsidized
by the FMA.
