9th International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI), World Congress

The focus of our conference theme will be " STI/HIV: Multidisciplinary Approaches - East Meets West".

IUSTI World Congress

The International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI), formerly International Union against Venereal Diseases and Treponematoses (IUVDT), is the oldest international organization in the field (founded in 1923) whose object is the achievement of international cooperation in the control of sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV infection. IUSTI is especially concerned not only with the medical aspects but the social and epidemiological aspects of the control of sexually transmitted diseases and increasingly HIV/AIDS. The IUSTI World Congress is biennial meeting, rotating to different regions.

The 9th IUSTI, World Congress is jointly hosted by the key organizations in Thailand, both government and non-government bodies, responsible to STI/HIV/Sexual Health services and infrastructure. The conference will be held during 15-18 November 2005, Bangkok. Thailand.

Please be informed that the abstract submission for oral or poster presentation is welcome. The simple format is fine.

1) Presenting author with full address: Name, Family Name, Title, Institution, Mailing Address, Country, Postal Code, Country, and E-mail.

2) Title of Abstract and Authors' names and Addresses (Name, Family Name, Title, Institution, Mailing Address, Country, Postal Code, Country, and E-mail): The title should be concise and appropriately informative and should contain all keywords necessary to facilitate retrieval by modern searching techniques.

3) Body of Abstract: The text should be fewer than 250 words and should state concisely the scope of the work and give the principal findings. The content should be organized under the following headings: Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. It should be complete enough for direct use by abstracting services. Acronyms and references should be avoided.

4) Key Words: 3-5 key words
