The World Economic Forum on Africa

Cape Town, Africa - Under the theme Raising the Bar, the region's premier gathering of leaders in business, government and civil society will draw lessons from best-performing states, assess new opportunities, address risks and identify priorities for action.

Buoyed by booming commodity prices, improved governance and strong growth, governments and businesses in Africa and beyond are sharpening their strategic focus towards the continent.

Celebrating these successes, the summit will examine remaining constraints and prioritize actions not only to sustain progress, but also ensure that the bar is raised much higher. Specific focus areas include skills and capacity utilization, further improving the investment climate, boosting competitiveness, building social and physical infrastructure and positioning the continent more proactively on the global stage.

Join a vibrant community of African champions and multinationals active in Africa working to galvanise the innovative partnerships and critical interventions needed to boost the fortunes of this fast-growing continent.
