IT Advancements in Healthcare Delivery

Goa, India - The focus of the event would be on the technological advancements in the healthcare delivery space and IT initiatives taken up by the public and private players for betterment of healthcare delivery services.

The Information Technology age has changed the way Healthcare services are delivered today. The Indian Healthcare providers, especially, the Tier-I hospitals are leaning towards technology adoption to provide better quality services.

The Tier I facilities in private sector are expected to exhibit the fastest growth for the next five years (~23%) by taking up facilities expansion, acquisitions, and Greenfield projects in class A cities. The major drivers for this projected growth are – private sector’s aggressive investment of estimated US$ 3bn for new projects by 2010, emergence of strong medical tourism opportunities, increased awareness, potential and need in the class B & C cities in the country. Frost & Sullivan estimates the growth of IT in Healthcare sector to be at ~18% CAGR

To address these IT initiatives and the evolving role of IT in the healthcare provider space, Frost & Sullivan is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Health IT Executive summit.
