ICT-Asia Seminar: Taipei 2007

Taipei, Taiwan - Themes of the seminar include GRID and high performance computation, Semantic web and new generation, Internet digital content, Network infrastructure, ICT for health, and Robotics and cognitive sciences.

The fifth ICT-Asia seminar is scheduled to take place in Taipei from 19 to 21 November 2007. This year's seminar's main themes are:GRID and high performance computation

Network infrastructure

Robotics and cognitive sciences

Tentative programme
Sunday, November 18th
Arriving of participants at the Academia Sinica (accommodation and eventually diner on
site). On the afternoon, a short trip in the hot spring could be organized.
Monday, November 19th

10h00 – 12h00: Presentation of the following projects in progress:
o MOSAIC: Mobile search and annotation using images in context (M. Joo-Hwee LIM,
IPAL-CNRS, Singapour),
o ONCO-MEDIA: Ontology and context related medical image distributed intelligent
access ( Dr Daniel RACOCEANU, IPAL-CNRS, Singapour),
o SCOUT: Survey of catastrophes and observation in urban territories ( M. Eric
CASTELLI, MICA-CNRS, Hanoï).
