10th International Paediatric and Child Health Nursing Conference

Darwin, Australia - Plenary sessions will showcase leaders in Paediatrics and Child Health Care. These speakers will focus on the critical issues in the specialty areas.

Paediatric and Child Health Nurses face many barriers in their practice; geographical, cultural, and professional to name a few. This conference aims to show that barriers can and must be crossed to improve health outcomes for children and young people.

Plenary sessions will showcase leaders in Paediatrics and Child Health Care. These speakers will focus on the critical issues in the specialty areas.

Concurrent sessions and posters will address the following themes: Clinical Practice; Child Safety; Nursing/Health Policy and Services Management; Nursing Education; Nursing/Health Research and Informatics; Ethics; and Workforce Issues.

Conference objectives

The main objectives of the Conference are:

to advance Paediatric and Child Health Nursing's contribution to health care and facilitate the dissemination of evidence in highlighting effective nursing interventions

to raise the profile of the benefits of interdisciplinary collaboration

to identify future directions for Paediatric and Child Health Nursing

provide a forum that stimulates debate and collegiality
