Call for Papers - The 2nd International Conference Water: Values and Rights

The Palestine Academy for Science and Technology and the Palestinian Water Authority are pleased to announce the 2nd International Conference on Water: Values and Rights to be held at Intercontinental Hotel, Jericho, Palestine from April 13-15, 2009.

The objectives of the Conference are to bring together scholars, scientists, experts and researchers, decision makers, and other stakeholders from the public and private sectors to discuss issues related to water rights and the state of the art in water and wastewater science and technology.

The Conference will also serve as an opportunity for all to interact with each other and with a prominent international group of invited speakers. It will furthermore tackle the pressing human rights and Hydropolitical issues.

We invite you to contribute to the conference and to submit papers about the results of your latest research work in

Reviewed papers are expected to be presented in the conference and will be published in the conference proceedings; The language of the conference is English.

Submission of abstract: October 30, 2008
Notification of acceptance of abstract: November 15, 2008
Submission of full paper: January 15, 2009
Notification of acceptances of paper: February 15, 2009
Full Paper on the desired Format: March 15, 2009
Final Conference Program Announced: March 20, 2009
Conference: April 13th -15th, 2009
