2010 Asia Media Summit: 24 - 26 May 2010, Beijing

Join the biggest global media event taking place in Asia-Pacific, the 2010 Asia Media Summit, and tap unparalleled opportunities for examining these issues and finding new perspectives on media’s strategies and initiatives.

Media dialogue is becoming increasing more important amongst
broadcasters as witnessed by the successfully completed Asia-Pacific and
Europe Media Dialogue recently held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

There is much scrutiny and expectation of the media in Asia-Pacific.
Are they doing enough to address creativity and credibility in content?
Given their pervasive influence, to what extent have they been
responsible in fulfilling their respective role in society?

The 2010 Asia Media Summit will be held from 25 - 26 May in Beijing,
China, the Asia Media Summit gathers some of the best minds and emerging
thought leaders to examine the issues of the conference theme,
“Creativity, Credibility, Rights & Responsibilities.”

Now on its 7th year, the Asia Media Summit will feature nine plenary
sessions covering issues on public trust in media, media ethics,
universal content access, community broadcasting, media and migration,
and copyright.

Another highlight is the series of pre-summit events that will examine
global issues such as climate change, HIV and AIDS, religion and
culture, and media regulations starting on 24 May 2010.

Please refer to the AIBD website for the agenda and further information.
