Asia Media Summit and a Call for a Better World

Some 700 delegates from Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, North America and Africa are participating in the Summit set on 25th-26th May 2010 to examine media issues and social concerns that may contribute towards industry and societal development.

It is also an occasion to seek a better year, and a better world, an
aspiration we all aim for at the Asia Media Summit 2010 in Beijing.

Some 700 delegates from Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, North America
and Africa are participating in the Summit set on 25th-26th May 2010 to
examine media issues and social concerns that may contribute towards
industry and societal development. There will be some 10 parallel Pre-
Summit Workshops on 24th May 2010 at the same venue.

The Summit features nine plenary sessions covering issues on public
trust in media, media ethics, universal content access, community
broadcasting, media and migration, and copyright. Its conference theme
is, “Creativity, Credibility, Rights & Responsibilities.”
