[IWN 2012] International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors

The International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors (IWN2012) will be held in Sapporo, Japan, from October 14 to 19, 2012. This workshop follows the first workshop held in Nagoya, Japan (IWN2000); the second in Aachen, Germany (IWN2002); the third in Pittsburgh, USA (IWN2004); the fourth in Kyoto, Japan (IWN2006); the fifth in Montreux, Switzerland (IWN2008); and the sixth in Tampa, USA (IWN2010).

IWN2012 will be organized as combination of four independent workshops. In each workshop, in-depth discussions on the focused issue will be carried out from the viewpoints of essential physics and chemistry underlying critical issues of nitride materials as well as the critical technological barriers that need to be overcome to improve the performances of nitride devices.
