International Conference on Global Movement of Moderates

We are pleased to announce that the International Islamic University Malaysia Alumni Association (IIUMAA) in conjunction with the International Islamic University Malaysia will host the inaugural International Conference on Global Movement of Moderates with the theme: "In Pursuit of an Enduring and Just Peace" on 17th – 19th January 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This conference has received strong encouragement and support from the Government of Malaysia and His Excellency the Prime Minister, Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, has kindly agreed to become the Patron and deliver the Opening Keynote Address on the 17th of January 2012.

The Opening Ceremony is on 17th January 2012 from 9:00am - 10:30am at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The conference , under the patronage of His Excellency Dato' Sri Najib, is aimed at providing a platform for stakeholders from across the globe to converge and help chart a roadmap towards galvanizing the voice of the moderates to ensure a just, and durable world peace.

We are very proud to announce that we have confirmed The Hon. Dato' Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, Malaysia’s Prime Minister, to officially launch the conference, with the Opening Keynote Address, entitled,"GLOBAL MOVEMENT OF MODERATES: THE WAY FORWARD".

We are also proud that The Hon. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, our Deputy Prime Minister will be closing the conference with the closing plenary, entitled, "JOINT COMMUNIQUE ON THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF GLOBAL MOVEMENT OF MODERATES"
