International Wheat Genetics Symbosium

An opportunity for international researchers to exchange information with their latest research for wheat genetics, genomics, gene function, evolution, genetic resources and breeding for sustainable wheat production.

The 12th International Wheat Genetics Symposium (IWGS) will be held on September, 2013 in Yokohama, Japan. IWGS is a regularly scheduled conference for wheat genetics and breeding science.

IWGS has been conducted every five years since 1958 with around 400 participants across the world.

IWGS's 12th conference is followed by a satellite meeting "Triticeae Cytogenetics: Past, Present and Future" in Kyoto 15-16th September 2013. For more details, see "Triticeae Cytogenetics: Past, Present and Future" under Event Calendar.
