5th International Congress of International Association of Societies of Design Research
The 5th International Congress of International Association of Societies of Design Research (IASDR) will be held in Japan with the joint sponsorship of the Science Council of Japan. The main theme is "Consilience and Innovation in Design".
The congress will feature workshops and symposia concerning technologies of Kansei value creation, theory and practice of service design, design engineering, design management, design philosophy, design history and culture, integration of design science and Kansei engineering, with basic sciences such as physiology, psychology, physical chemistry, and many others.
The five-day meeting will showcase design practices that embody the theme and workshops which demonstrate the bridge between the engineering and design science.
