The Department primarily seeks an expert in classical Chinese fiction and/or classical Chinese drama. Additional interests in areas like Chinese values and culture, cultural heritage or art history would be valuable to the Department and the Faculty. Candidates with a demonstrated investment in innovative pedagogy, including teaching with technology, are especially welcome to apply.
Applicants must have a Doctoral Degree and must be able to demonstrate an active research agenda.
The candidate will be responsible for teaching courses across the field of classical Chinese literature and culture. They will also be responsible for service to academic programmes, the Department, and the Faculty. The expected start date will be around August 2021.
