As a Scientific Officer, you will be tasked but not limited to planning and executing the grant-making process, annual budgeting, exploring funding opportunities, and managing documents and deadlines. You will need to provide consultation and administrative support to Programmatic Theme Leads, Principal Investigators and other faculty on operational and grant related matters. You will serve as liaison with NUS research offices, Office of Legal Affairs, Industry Liaison Office and external funding agencies on issues of intellectual property, project and research collaboration agreements, MTAs, NDAs, etc. You will also be working closely with the Outreach, HR and Finance department on grant administrative and research events.

A Data Manager position is available immediately in Prof Chng Wee Joo’s research group. The selected candidate is responsible for supporting principal clinical investigators in the field of haematologic malignancies, specifically myeloma, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy. The primary focus involves both prospective and retrospective data collection for patients. In addition to direct data management, the position involves active participation in research studies. This includes collecting data from patients enrolled in these studies and maintaining the databases associated with each project. The Data Manager contributes to the overall quality and success of the research initiatives by facilitating smooth data workflows. Furthermore, the role extends to providing necessary data for conference presentations, emphasizing the importance of disseminating research findings to the scientific community. The Data Manager also takes on the responsibility of maintaining up-to-date study status information by submitting essential documents and data to regulatory bodies, such as the Domain Specific Review Board (DSRB) and other relevant registries. 23155 - Bioinformatician - Dr Jason Pitt's Lab

Cancer Science Institute of Singapore's Core Facility - Genome and Data Analytics Core (GeDac) have multiple genomic data scientist/ bioinformatician positions available. CSI GeDac has built a cloud-based (AWS) platform to facilitate the automated processing and analysis of large cancer genomics datasets. Successful candidates, in conjunction with software engineering experts, will - Build and optimize various components of this platform; and - Provide on-demand bioinformatics support for CSI/NUS investigators. Candidates will have opportunities to apply their biological and technical expertise to diverse, innovative projects while participating in state-of-the-art ML/AI and big data initiatives (e.g. APIs for scalable cancer genome analytics). Candidates will also have numerous opportunites to expand their skills and networks by collaborating with multiple local and multinational industrial stakeholders. Although candidates are expected to have a variety of bioinformatics skills, we are particularly keen to identify experts in RNA-seq, single cell RNA-seq, and ChIP/ATAC-seq technologies. Overall, these positions provide a unique opportunity to work with a large, diverse team to drive discoveries in cancer genomics and enhance precision oncology.
