Gathering regional and global expertise, the Aid & Development Asia Summit will discuss innovations, technology and partnerships for humanitarian and development programmes in Southeast Asia, focusing particularly on Thailand, as the regional hub. Given Asia’s vulnerability to natural disasters, the summit’s Agenda will focus on disaster, resilience and response strategies and implementations needed to reduce risk in the region. The Summit will facilitate knowledge and information exchange, embodying several cultures and industries. Attended by more than 250 leaders, decision-makers and professionals working towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the region, the AIDF Asia Summit will enable collaboration between UN, government agencies, local and international NGOs, Red Cross, development banks, investors, associations, media and the private sector.
