Paliwanagan sa UP Diliman 2015 Quezon Hall Lobby 15 May 2015 5:00-8:00 PM
Given that the year 2015 coincides with the 85th death anniversary of Paciano Rizal Mercado, older brother and mentor of Jose Rizal, we have decided that in this year’s Paliwanagan, we bring together a group of researchers who represent the old and the young in an attempt to synthesize the research skills and attitudes acquired through career-long research ventures with the exuberance, audacity, and freshness usually associated with young researchers. We are hoping that with this we can highlight the contributions and initiatives of Paciano in molding and influencing the national hero.
The Colloquium presenters will be composed of National Artist Dr. Ramon P. Santos, National Scientist Dr. Lourdes J. Cruz, and three research/project leaders from various UP Diliman units (Prof. Hazel O. Arceo of CS, Prof. Alberto L. Dimarucut of CHK, and Prof. Leee Anthony M. Neri of ASP).
