Call for participants: 11th APN Early Career Poster and Networking Session

The APN 11th Poster and Networking Session extends a special invitation to early career professionals from Thailand. This platform provides opportunities for professionals to showcase their research on climate change and variability and disaster risk reduction. By participating, early career professionals can engage with peers, research experts and policymakers, contributing to the discourse on climate resilience and shaping strategies for a more sustainable future.

The APN Secretariat extends a formal invitation to Early Career Professionals affiliated with institutions in Thailand to join the APN 11th Poster and Networking Session. This event will be held in conjunction with the Joint 27th Intergovernmental and Scientific Planning Group Meeting and the 30th Anniversary of APN, hosted by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), scheduled to convene at Jubilee Prestige Hotel Ratchadapisek, Bangkok, Thailand, from 9–10 July 2026.

In acknowledgement of the significance of climate change and variability and disaster risk reduction in Thailand, we cordially invite submissions of poster abstracts that showcase innovative research, findings and methodologies in these critical thematic areas.

Kindly note that the open call for submissions is competitive and approximately 15–20 posters will be selected for presentation during the session, which will be held on 9 July 2026. This will ensure a high-quality exchange of ideas and expertise among all participants.

The winning poster presenter will be awarded the prestigious Mitra Award for Global Change Research and given a coveted space in the plenary to present their work to APN member governments and research institutions from the Asia-Pacific region.
