Ichthyologists participate in the joint conference to share research about the systematics and ecology of Asian and Indo-Pacific fishes, including topics such as evolution, biogeography, taxonomy, ecology, biology, sustainable fisheries, and conservation. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to share the latest research results, develop collaborations, and promote research.
The conference will feature four main Themed Sessions: Systematics (covering evolution, taxonomy, and biogeography), Ecology (including larval fish ecology), Sustainable Fisheries, and general Fish Biology (encompassing Physiology, Neurobiology, Behavior, Developmental Biology). Additionally, eight Special Sessions align with the core themes of the conference 'Conservation' and 'Transition' in order to address diverse research exchanges.
Presenters are invited to submit their abstracts for these sessions by visiting the submission page. Final program will be available on May 30, 2025.
The most recent meetings were successfully held at Universiti Sains Malaysia in Penang, Malaysia, on May 28-29, 2024, and at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, on November 20-24, 2023.
