□ IM_Pathfinder_Navi, a vascular intervention at IMsystem (CEO Jinyoung Kim), an employee startup company from the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST; President Kunwoo Lee), was selected as a Next Gen World Class Product in the World Class Product Certification by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
□ The World Class Product Certification is a program organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and operated by KOTRA to help Korean products tap into the global market. It selects a product annually based on Korean and global market share and growth potential. A product with the potential to rank among the top five in global market share within the next seven years is selected as the Next Gen World Class Product, and the selected company receives benefits from a variety of government support programs, including international marketing and financial support.
□ IMsystem’s Next Generation Vascular Interventional System (IM_Pathfinder_Navi) is a remote control system based on magnetic fields and magnetic guide wires, and it was recognized as an innovative product that overcomes the limitations of manual procedures and offers a high level of safety and convenience for patients and healthcare professionals.
□ CEO Jinyoung Kim (Principal Investigator at the Division of Biomedical Technology) at IMsystem said, “We are very pleased our product has been selected as a Next Gen World Class Product.
