DGIST Graduate School of Technology Management to Recruit New Students for November Admission – Accelerating the Development of Global Technology Management Leaders

Cultivating top talent for the global high-tech industry through integrated education in engineering and management

DGIST (President Kunwoo Lee) announced that it will begin recruiting new students for the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management in November 2025. Eligible applicants include industry professionals and individuals with a bachelors degree or higher in engineering or management who are interested in technology management. All admitted students will receive a 50% tuition scholarship, which will be provided until graduation.

The DGIST Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management was selected in April for the 2025 Global Advanced Strategic Industry Technology Management Talent Development Project organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Following this selection, the school has established dedicated personnel and organizational structures and is actively preparing for full-scale operations.

This new graduate program is designed to go beyond a traditional MBA by offering an innovative curriculum that integrates engineering and management. It will include a Masters in Technology and Innovation Management, a Masters in AI-driven Management, a Masters in Engineering, and a dual-degree track that allows students to earn both a management and an engineering degree. This program aims to cultivate leaders who can effectively integrate AI into business strategies to drive industrial innovation and strengthen corporate competitiveness. It will also collaborate with DGISTs existing departments in engineering and science and partner with leading global universities and corporations to nurture talent with strong international competitiveness.

Wujin Chu, Dean of the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management, stated, Building on DGISTs expertise in advanced technology, we aim to foster global business leaders who understand both management and technology. We look forward to welcoming many new students who will help shape the future of technology and innovation management with us.

DGIST has set a goal of using this admissions cycle as a stepping stone to expand beyond the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region and establish itself as both the center of technology management education in Korea and a global hub for cultivating innovative talent.
