- DGIST participates in Future Innovation tech eXpo 2024 (FIX 2024), organized by the city of Daegu, held on Oct. 23 (Wed.) – 26 (Sat.) - DGIST to interact with visitors by showcasing outstanding research achievements, offering technical consultations, and holding open seminars

□ DGIST (President Lee Kunwoo) will be participating in FIX 2024 (Future Innovation tech eXpo), held in EXCO, Daegu during October 23-26. It will present top research achievements in future mobility and cognitive robotics, while also interacting with visitors in a variety of ways, including technical consultations and open seminars.

 

□ DGIST will operate an 189m2 exhibition booth and present various research results in the areas of future mobility, cognitive robotics, semiconductor, and sensor technology. In particular, the exhibition will focus on technologies that are actually being applied in industries, such as autonomous trailer platforms and heavy goods handling robots. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the latest technical trends and applications firsthand.

 

□ Furthermore, for companies that have pre-booked, DGIST will hold free-of-charge consultation sessions to offer customized assistance to help them solve technical problems. Starting with these consultation sessions, DGIST will continue to help companies solve such problems through DIARC Platform (diarc.dgist.ac.kr). Additionally, it will encourage exchanges between academia and industries by holding open seminars to share the latest technology trends.

 

□ “FIX 2024 is a vital opportunity to share DGIST’s outstanding research results and strengthen cooperation with companies,” said Dr. Shin Kyung-ho, Vice President for Research and Development. “Through this exposition, we hope to take the lead in technological innovation and contribute to the advancement of the industry.”

 

FIX 2024 is a comprehensive exhibition of innovative technologies centered on new industries that the city of Daegu is focusing on fostering, including future mobility, robotics, ABB (artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain), and semiconductors. Various domestic and overseas companies, research institutes, and academia will participate in diverse programs such as technology exhibitions, seminars, and business consultations.

 

□ Along with this exposition, DGIST is building the DGIST Global Campus in Suseong AlphaCity in close cooperation with the city of Daegu. The DGIST Global Campus is expected to reinforce innovative research on high tech industries such as ABB and become a significant springboard for enhancing global competitiveness through cooperation with local industries.
