GNSS Indonesia Summit & Expo 2025 Successfully Showcases Future Satellite Innovations

GNSS Indonesia Summit & Expo 2025, the first international-scale GNSS forum in Indonesia, was successfully held from 19–23 November 2025 at Universitas Indonesia, Depok. This five-day event highlighted how global navigation satellite systems are becoming increasingly crucial across various sectors, including transportation, precision agriculture, disaster mitigation, environmental monitoring, and national digital transformation.

Throughout the event, participants engaged in seminars, workshops, talk shows, and live demonstrations delivered by leading experts from academia, government, and industry. Discussions covered strategic topics such as the use of spatial data for public policy, the strengthening of national navigation system independence, and emerging opportunities in GNSS-based downstream industries. These sessions provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of satellite technology in Indonesia.

The technology exhibition was one of the main attractions, showcasing advanced GNSS devices, satellite-based applications, IoT monitoring solutions, and high-precision positioning systems. Several technology companies and satellite service providers introduced innovations that reflect the rapid growth of the satellite ecosystem.

A gala dinner also took place as part of the event, serving as a platform to strengthen collaboration and networking among researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers. The gathering opened new opportunities for future partnerships and GNSS-related innovation.

The organizers extended their appreciation to all sponsors and media partners whose support was integral to the success of this international event. Their contributions helped amplify public awareness and ensured high-quality execution throughout the summit.

As the largest GNSS forum ever held in Indonesia, the event aims to promote satellite technology literacy and advance national innovation. The organizing committee hopes that the GNSS Indonesia Summit & Expo will become a regular agenda that brings together key stakeholders and positions Indonesia as a hub for satellite navigation research and development in the region.
