Kogi State Arts and Culture

Kogi state arts council is basically a government agency sadled with a responsibility of researching into all cultural activities in Nigeria especially within Kogi State.

It is made up of five major departments and other unites. Performing Arts, Research and Documentation, Fine and Applied ART, Admin and Accounts Departments.

The RESEARCH DEPT is respossible for publications. Performing Arts is responsible for performances via Drama, Dance and Music. Fine and Applied Art handles all crafts works. The Arts and Culture came into being in January 1991.

Ever since it's creation, it is one of the most dynamic cultural Troupes in Nigeria with many laurels to her credit.
