Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable

SARPV Bangladesh is a national non-governmental organisation working with and for people with disabilities in Bangladesh.

SARPV has a head office in Dhaka, and has field offices in Lama, Chakaria (near to Cox's Bazar) and in Cox's Bazar itself.

SARPV's mission is to build a society where persons with disability can participate to their full capacity in all social activities and grow to their full potential irrespective of their functional limitations and where persons with disability enjoy equal rights and opportunities in the mainstream of society.

Our main activities include research and prevention work on rickets; participatory advocacy programmes to promote the rights of people with disabilities; and community based rehabilitation (CBR) programmes in Chakaria.
