Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT') was founded in 1969 as TAR College with the purpose of providing tertiary education opportunities to young Malaysians of all races, classes, and creeds seeking quality education, as well as meeting the rising demand for human capital from businesses and industries.
TAR UMT has a proud history of being one of the oldest academic institutions in Malaysia, with a rich history since 1969. The university have produced more than 290,000 alumni, that are highly trained professionals and thriving in their respective roles.
