Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) traces its origins to 1904 and became a full-fledged university in 1972. Today, it is one of Malaysia’s leading research-intensive technological universities, with its main campus in Johor Bahru and additional campuses in Kuala Lumpur and Pagoh.

The university comprises 13 faculties and schools spanning engineering, computing, artificial intelligence, science, built environment, management, education, social sciences and humanities, as well as specialised international and professional education. UTM currently has more than 32,000 students, including approximately 4,850 international students, creating a diverse academic community with strong global connections.
