Japan Inspection Instruments Manufacturers' Show (JIMA) 2007

Japan Inspection Instruments Manufacturers’ Association is the lone association consisting of non-destructive inspection instrument manufacturers only. High-tech sensors including ultrasonic waves, magnetism, vortex flow, X-ray and infrared rays are used for inspection to protect human safety and to maintain a high quality of products. Penetration of the ISO International Standards and broader demands for quality due to the establishment of a product liability law have increased attention to these inspection methods. The previous exhibition held in 2005 attracted over 78,000 visitors in total. The manufacturers involved in quality control or maintenance inspection can, therefore, expect effective presentation and especially successful PR activities at the event. This is mainly considered to be a result of a synergetic effect achieved by cooperation with other closely related industrial groups such as testing machinery, sensor, and ceramic groups. This event is not a single exhibition held by inspection instrument manufactures. Since the event is a general exhibition where people from any field can attend, you are most likely to have plenty of opportunities to develop unknown uses of your products or explore new markets.

In each event technical seminars were held to show the latest inspection techniques and the seminars achieved a good reputation. Organizers themselves plan such projects to make the exhibition more attractive from the exhibitors' view points.
