The 2006 fair surpassed projected attendance with about 30,000 overseas buyers and a total of over 130,000 visitors, generating on-site orders and sales worth around US$12.5 billion. Representatives of all industries, sectors, and companies from regions and nations around the globe milled about four spacious Taipei World Trade Center halls housing 2,907 booths to browse, network, source, and exchange.
