Agriculture Extension 2008
UPM, Serdang, Malaysia - This is a bi-yearly international event involving agriculture researchers, academicians, policy makers, extension practitioners, entrepreneurs and students.
The theme of the conference for this year is “Agriculture Sustainability Through Participative Global Extension”.
Objectives
1. Bringing together local and foreign experts on agriculture extension and actual practitioners to discuss on policies, issues, prospects, strategies and other relevant activities pertaining to agricultural human capital development and society’s involvement in agricultural development and participative technology transfer
2. Promoting sustainable agriculture extension through regional collaboration and setting up of the Society of Professional Extension Experts within the Asian region.
