Galvin is a multidisciplinary academic, educator, and entrepreneur with a proven track record of excellence in business, education, and innovation.
Dr. Farman Ali is an accomplished researcher and academic specializing in UAV communications, free space optics, nonlinear optical systems, and AI-integrated communication technologies. He is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China, where he is engaged in cutting-edge research in UAV-to-ground/ship communication modeling, AI-driven optical systems, and channel modeling under urban and maritime conditions. Previously, Dr. Ali held the position of Associate Professor and ORIC In-charge at Qurtuba University of Science and IT, Pakistan, where he also convened the Occupational Safety and Health Committee within the Faculty of Engineering. With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Iqra National University (2019), an M.S. from Sarhad University (2014), and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (2011), his educational foundation underpins his prolific research output. Dr. Ali has authored over 70 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals including IEEE Transactions, Optics & Laser Technology, and Fiber and Integrated Optics, amassing over 645 citations, with an h-index of 15 and an i10-index of 24. His work has contributed to major projects funded by the Chinese National Key Research Program, European Union Horizon 2020, and multiple Middle Eastern and European academic grants. In addition to his research, he has also contributed to innovation through patents, notably in UAV-based maritime communication models. Dr. Ali’s interdisciplinary expertise bridges optical networks, machine learning, and wireless communications, making him a key contributor to the future of 5G+ and next-generation aerial communication systems.

Wan F. A. Jusoh is currently a Senior Lecturer in Biodiversity and Conservation and serves as the Honours Program Director (Malaysia) at the School of Science, Monash University Malaysia. Her research focuses on the intersection of biodiversity and the history of natural heritage, ranging from studying flashing fireflies to reconstructing timelines of how ecosystems have evolved.

Dr Yap is currently a Senior Lecturer and Program Director of Medical Bioscience at Monash University Malaysia. She is dedicated to toxin pharmacology and toxicology research. She has strong background in biomolecular modelling, proteomics, immunological and molecular pharmacology of bioactive toxins. She leads the Toxin Pharmacology Research Group. Her research group now focuses on molecular mechanisms of cytotoxin with the ultimate goal of developing next-generation biotherapeutics. Her research works have been featured in prominent media outlets, including the International Snakebite Awareness Day campaign. Besides active in research, she is also an education innovator who adopts various active learning strategies with technology. She teaches undergraduate units with an emphasis on student-cantered learning using the andragogy approach. Dr Michelle enjoys promoting STEM education to the public. She has organized and hosted several workshops and forums to advance the disciplines in medical sciences through research and education.

Norhafezah binti Kasmuri has obtained her Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2001. She has received her Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering and Management (WAREM) from Universitat Stuttgart, Germany in 2004. She has completed her study of Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University, Wales, the United Kingdom in 2014. She has been serving UiTM since August 2014 as a senior lecturer at the School of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam.

Dr Kanimolli Arasu is a lecturer and a dietitian at the International Medical University, Malaysia.

Dr. Nor Aiman Sukindar has joined International Islamic University Malaysia in 2019 and currently working as Assistant Professor in Manufacturing and Materials Department and at the same time holding a position as Chairman of the Advanced Manufacturing and Material Research Unit (AMTech). Before joining IIUM, Dr. Aiman was working with Politeknik Kuching Sarawak for more than seven years from 2011 until 2019. Dr. Aiman has extensive experience in research pertaining to additive manufacturing technologies including the design and development of 3D printers, fabricating scaffold structures for bone replacement using biomaterials, optimization printing parameters, and any other related field. Dr. Aiman was awarded grants from industries and the government including PPRN, Tin Grant, and Sponsored research grant. Recently, Dr. Aiman won several awards including a silver medal in Asia Innovation Festival 2022, Gold Medal in RITEC 2021 Competition in 2021, and a silver medal and Outstanding Award in SDG MTE 2021 Competition also in 2021.
Professor Beena Giridharan is the Dean for Learning and Teaching at Curtin Malaysia, and provides academic leadership to Curtin Malaysia, with a particular focus on academic operational efficiency. Her research and academic interests include: vocabulary acquisition in ESL, educational administration and leadership; higher education practices, transnational education (TNE), ethno-linguistic studies in indigenous communities, and social and cultural studies. As a member of an OLT (Office of Learning and Teaching, Australia) funded project entitled ‘Learning without Borders’ she has investigated leadership roles in Trans-National Education (TNE) and internationalization of the curriculum.

Dr. Syerina Azlin Md Nasir received her Ph.D. in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia and her undergraduate studies at University of Salford, United Kingdom. She is a senior lecturer in Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at UiTM Cawangan Kelantan, Malaysia where she has been a faculty member since 2004. She has been engaged to research works such as conferences, workshops and become a member of Business Datalytics Research Group. She is a member of Microsoft Certified Professional, International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Certified RapidMiner Analyst and Certified Talend Data Integration. Her earlier publications are on database technology, ontology construction and mapping and actively involves in research, consultations and publications. The author’s current interest is on data mining, data analytics, text and web mining.

One of her main duties at TTO is to manage the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the academic researchers as TTO. Dr Olivia Tan is also involved in Erasmus+ Spire, European grant project as Quality Manager in 2018 to 2020. SPIRE’s overall objective is contributing to the effectiveness of Research and Innovation management at HEIs by enhancing IPR  matters.
Dr. Olivia Tan Swee Leng was a Legal Counsel at Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) and in charge of the Domain Name Dispute Resolution for both .com from Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre and .my cases, as well as Mediation/Arbitration case management.  She obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree with honours in 1993 from University of London (UK) and completed her Certificate of Legal Practise (CLP) in 1996.  She was the book prize winner for the Civil Procedure Paper and General Paper awarded by the Certificate of Legal Practise Board (Malaysia) in 1996.  She practised as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia in the area of Corporate Litigation, Intellectual Property (Trademark), and Banking and Conveyancing. She continued to pursue her Masters in Law at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2002. Later that year, she ceased legal practise to lecture Company Law, Business Law and Commercial Law at Nilai University in Malaysia as a Senior Lecturer in Law and headed the Department of Admission and Records as a Deputy Registrar.  She obtained her PhD in Law at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2014.  Presently, she is the Director Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at Multimedia University (MMU). One of her main duties at TTO is to manage the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the academic researchers as TTO. Dr Olivia Tan is also involved in Erasmus+ Spire, European grant project as Quality Manager in 2018 to 2020. Susan Lim (14 February 1952 – 2 August 2014) was a Malaysian parasitologist who specialized in studying a class of flatworms, the Monogeans, which are parasites of fishes.
Ali
Little is known about Ali, a teenager from Sarawak, Malaysia, who was chief assistant to the famous naturalist Alfred Wallace. Most of what is known comes from Wallace’s writings. Ali accompanied Wallace on expeditions throughout the Malay Archipelago from December 1855 to February 1862.
Wu Lien-teh (10 March 1879 – 21 January 1960) was a Malaysian-born doctor who invented a mask that effectively suppressed disease transmission. Winning the prestigious Queen’s Scholarship enabled Wu to become the first Chinese student to study medicine at the University of Cambridge.
Known as Mr. Natural Rubber, chemist and researcher B. C. Shekhar (17 November 1929 – 6 September 2006) introduced a number of technical innovations that helped put Malaysia’s natural rubber industry on the world map.
Lim Boo Liat (21 August 1926 – 11 July 2020), a leading authority in the conservation of Malaysia’s biological diversity, had his initial interest in the outdoors piqued by nature lessons in school. Lim, who helped found the National Zoo of Malaysia and re-establish the Malaysian Nature Society, had a particular interest in researching zoonotic diseases associated with small animals.
