Dr Stephen Poon

A dynamic force in social creative catalyst, navigates the global landscape with a unique perspective, work across disciplines in sustainability, creativity, human factors, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Stephen is a social creative catalyst, who has his own particular view of the world, worked and studied all over the Europe.   His multicultural background is reflected in his versatile approach and continuous interest in creativity and innovation, circular economy and social change.   Actively in research, published in the scholarly journals, chapters and magazines in current issues and debates on integrated sustainability and urban creativity, discourse across a wide range of disciplinarities in intra, cross, multi, inter and trans practices.   As the Malaysia Chair Representative for ACED (Asian Council on Ergonomics & Design) and a Steering Committee member for MINDS (Malaysia Invention & Design Society), a Standing Committee of Academic and Research Cluster in MGBC (Malasyia Green Building Council), he plays a vital role in professional standards and education.   A dedicated academic since 2004, Stephen lectures on integrated sustainability, urban creativity, and contextualising practice.   With multiple editorial roles and a reviewer for WoS- and SCOPUS-indexed journals, Stephen is a catalyst for positive change, influencing creative practices and academia alike.
