Exploit-IP is an initiative funded by the Singapore Ministry of Trade & Industry to create a vibrant platform for Technology Partners to engage relevant industry partners in licensing of their IP. On of the activities is the thematic TechLicensing Fairs. The next fair will be on 20 November 2008 with the theme of Energy and Environment.
Some of the technologies to be presented are:
1. Photovoltaic: think film processes, CIS/ CIGS/ CNT thin film, power invertor & controller, encapsulation technology, inorganic barrier layer, porous metal oxide coating
2. Clean Water Technologies: polymer/ hollow fibre membrane, chemical & biological detection, arsenic detection, removal of organics, water quality monitoring, desalination, pre-treatment.
3) Green Building Techologies: design & simulation tool, green building material, solid state lighting, photocatalyst, TiO2 coating, indoor air quality
4) Power Management: control algorithm, power optimization for data center, piezoelectric technology, low-power synthesis technique, low torque transmission.
5) Clean Energy: fuel-cell, fuel-cell membrane, catalyst for reactor, hydrogen storage/ production/ control
6) Waste Management : waste re-cycling, waste treatment, toxic elements removal, recovery of nutrients, re-cycling of polymide, biodegradable polyethylenimine
There will also be Technology Licensing Workshops where licensing professionals share their experiences and best practices in technology commercialization
