Welcome to SIAT Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) is a widely covered international event organized by The Automotive Research Association Of India (ARAI) biennially. SIAT serves as an important forum for sharing ideas and knowledge concerning promising areas of Automotive Engineering and Technology.

Eminent experts and authors present Keynote and Technical Papers in multiple technical sessions. Technologists, Researchers and Scientists from automotive and allied industry, and academia from across the globe attend SIAT. SIAT also provides an excellent networking opportunity.

Symposium Proceedings, covering keynote and technical papers, and Reference Technical Bulletin, covering various technical articles on trends and issues related to automotive technology, are published during SIAT. SIAT is graded as an SAE conference and technical papers published in SIAT will find place in SAE database.

The next event, namely, SIAT 2009 – the 11th in the series is being organized by ARAI in association with SAE India, NATRiP and SAE International at its campus in Pune, India from 21 – 23 January 2009.

The theme of SIAT 2009 is Eco-Mobility. SIAT 2009 will focus on the key areas like, Alternate Fuels, Automotive Electronics, Automotive Testing, Durability, Emissions, Engines, Materials, NVH, Safety, Vehicle Evaluation, etc.

An exposition called SIAT EXPO 2009 is also organized concurrently at ARAI from 21-24 January 2009. Automotive Products, Equipment, Services and Technology solutions will be showcased /demonstrated by spectrum of companies world over.

Various awards are given for Technical Papers presented during SIAT and Exhibition stalls in SIAT EXPO.
