JAPAN NANO 2011

In the present symposium, cutting-edge nanotechnology R&Ds related to energy, environment, and resources issues are presented.

Increasing consumption of energy and the subsequent emission of greenhouse gases leading to global warming are considered substantial issues. Furthermore, securing resources which are necessary for high performance products in IT devices, energy systems, and transportation etc., is increasingly becoming a crucial subject on a global scale.

Nanotechnology is expected to give significant technological innovation to help to solve these problems.
