Call for Proposals: "Art-Science Synergy: Fostering Future-Ready Societies" Symposium in Thailand

The Science Society of Thailand (SST) and the National Science Museum (NSM) Thailand invite you to submit your work for the 3rd International Symposium of Science Communication and Public Science Literacy 2026.

The 3rd International Symposium of Science Communication and Public Science Literacy 2026 organised by the Science Society of Thailand (SST) and the National Science Museum (NSM) Thailand explores how the fusion of creativity and scientific rigor can humanize complex research and inspire a resilient society capable of navigating the future.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for contributions in two tiers:

Tier 1: Students - Undergraduate & Graduate students

Tier 2: Professionals - Researchers, academics, educators, science communicators, and policymakers.

Sharing Themes:

We welcome proposals for Oral or Poster presentations in the following areas:

Research and Scholarship: Academic studies on using arts to foster effective science communication (theories, models, and empirical research).

Practice and Public Engagement: Practical applications and projects that use art to enhance public science literacy.

Important Dates:

Submission Deadline: Now – September 30, 2026

Selection Announcement: October 15, 2026

Confirmation & Registration: By October 20, 2026

Symposium Date: November 23-24, 2026

Location: KICE, Khon Kaen, Thailand (as part of STT52).

Note: Presenters at this symposium enjoy FREE registration when registering through NSM Thailand.
