DGIST to resolve the technical concerns of companies!

- DGIST holds free 1:1 consultation sessions customized for companies at “FIX 2024” - Offers solutions based on research accomplishments and infrastructure for the technical problems of companies

□ DGIST (President Kunwoo Lee) announced that it will conduct 1:1 technology consultation sessions customized for companies at “Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024),” which will be held at EXCO (Daegu Exhibition & Convention Center) from October 23 to 26. These consultation sessions are expected to help companies solve their technical problems and directly apply research accomplishments to industrial settings.

□ DGIST will offer various forms of technical support through these sessions, such as assistance with difficulties related to technology, technology commercialization, R&D partnerships, and the usage of research equipment, conducting free customized consultations for companies to solve their technical problems on site. The goal of these consultation sessions is to specifically diagnose the unresolved issues faced by companies and offer effective solutions through intensive deliberations with one-on-one matching between researchers and companies.

□ Companies interested in participating in these consultations can apply online from October 2 to October 18, 2024, via the DGIST Technology Consultation website (diarc.dgist.ac.kr). Companies are required to list their technical needs when applying, so that consultation sessions with experts from the relevant field can be scheduled through prior matching. The sessions will be held from October 23 to October 25, 2024, with approximately 30 minutes of company-specific technology consultation scheduled for each company.

□ In addition to the technology consultations, DGIST will generally display its major research accomplishments at FIX 2024, such as future mobility, robotics, ICT (ABB), semiconductors, and sensors. Various innovative technologies will be exhibited, such as autonomous driving platforms, intelligent robots, semiconductor wafers, sensors, and devices, through which companies will explore the latest technological trends and find opportunities for collaboration.

□ “These technology consultations will be an important opportunity for companies to resolve the issues they face on site and industrialize our research accomplishments,” said Kyung Ho Shin, Vice President for Research and Development at DGIST. “We hope many companies will promote technological innovation and growth in collaboration with DGIST researchers.”

□ Meanwhile, Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024) is an integrated exhibition of innovative technologies that is held with focus on the new industries being actively developed by Daegu, such as future mobility, robotics, ABB, and semiconductors. The event will involve various domestic and international companies, research institutes, and academia and will offer a variety of programs, such as technology exhibitions, seminars, and business consultations.
