□ The Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST; President Kunwoo Lee) hosted a lecture on integrity at DGIST Convention Hall from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sep 11, 2025 (Thu) with more than 100 faculty, staff members, and students attending. It was about spreading a culture of integrity through various experiential programs.
□ Director Sesin Kim of the Integrity Training Center was invited to deliver this training session on the topic of “Anti-Corruption Laws and Policies - From the Perspective of Humanities.” Director Kim re-interpreted the meaning of integrity beyond mere compliance through reflection from the perspective of humanities, and suggested the right values and practices that the public sector and public agencies should seek.
□ More importantly, the session provided experiential programs beyond simple lectures, such as integrity theater performances, which drew more engagement and interest from participants. It served as an opportunity for DGIST members to understand integrity more easily and tangibly.
□ “Integrity serves as the foundation of institutional operations and the foundation for achieving social trust,” said Director Hyungwook Cho of the Office of General Administration, DGIST. “We will continue to conduct integrity training sessions and diverse campaigns to spread a culture of integrity across the organization.”
□ Meanwhile, DGIST makes various efforts to spread the value of integrity among all organization members, including various integrity campaigns for faculty and staff members.
